about

A temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or upon waking.
An experience with sleep paralysis.

lyrics

My eyes...they were open, hands to the side palms down.
At first I just thought... Well, I really didn't know what to think. I heard the ticking of the clock.
I heard the ceiling fan, ya know?
Then there she was.
Whispering.
Jibberish at first but I caught a word or two
Wake Up
wake up
I tried to move my legs, but something was holding me down.
I felt it, but I couldn't see it
It was cold, which was unusual It was the middle of July.
It was a lot of shadows. Dancing around just shadows.
And a buzz
And all I kept hearing was
Wake Up
Wake Up
They are coming
Wake Up
I tried my best, ya know.
I tried moving, screaming...
Then there was uh...sound
The the room was empty.
I thought it was over but then uh three three of these I don't know hags? One was straddling my me. The others beside my head on each side.
They had this golden string and some uh a dagger of sorts.
Then...
uh
they started to cut the strings and I swear I got so dizzy and weak.
I felt like they were stabbing my chest and
it was terrifying.
They cut it completely one by one. The third and final string hung by a thread, literally.
I...fuck I don't know how but just when the last one was about to cut it, I woke up screaming
drenched.

I thought "holy shit, intense dream, right?"
I have these..these bruises on my legs, where one of them gripped by ankles. How do you explain that?
How do I explain that?
